You can attend our webinars from any computer, mobile, or tablet device which has access to the internet and a modern web browser without having to install any special software.
Registering:
The first thing you will need to do is register to join the webinar session you are interested in. Simply send an email to support@safetytoolbox.co.uk with your name, email address, the organisation you represent and details of the session you would like to join and we'll handle the rest.
Once you have been registered you will receive an automated email to confirm your registration which will include your unique access link (see example below):
You will receive a reminder email one hour before the webinar is scheduled to start which will also contain the same access link.
Attending:
When you are ready to attend the webinar, open either your confirmation or reminder email and click the Access Webinar button.
If you have not received your confirmation email or you've lost it - please contact our support team by email: support@safetytoolbox.co.uk
Once the webinar has started, you can post messages and ask questions - both of which are visible to everyone attending the webinar from the sidebar to the right of your screen (see below).
Post Messages (Chat)
Click on the Chat tab of the sidebar. Enter your message at the bottom of the sidebar and press enter. Your messages are visible to everyone attending the webinar, not just your SafetyToolbox Host.
Ask Questions
Click on the Questions tab of the sidebar. Enter the question you'd like to ask in the box at the bottom of the sidebar and press enter. Your question will be visible to everyone attending the webinar so if you would prefer to ask something in confidence, please contact our support team at the end of the webinar.
A member of our team will be answering your questions throughout the webinar but if we run out of time to get to your question, we'll be in touch after the webinar is over with a response.
Tips for accessing a webinar
- If possible, use a modern browser, otherwise, you will fall back to compatibility mode
- Have a minimum bandwidth of 5MBs download
- Have a proper screen size to have a legible video (above 1280 pixels wide). The webinar service is responsive on mobile devices but the experience is always better on a regular screen.
- If possible, do not watch a webinar on a protected network. If your network is protected by a restrictive firewall, you will fall back to compatibility mode. Use this platform to test your network. If "Media Server" is in red then you are in a secure network behind a firewall. You can also send our webinar service provider the results (help@livestorm.co). To fix this problem: change network, turn off the firewall or share your 4G network.
