If you no longer wish to have a link or legislation published within your Resource but wish to keep it for future use, you can disable a link. Disabling a link or legislation hides it without removing it, allowing it to be re-enabled later.
When a link or legislation is disabled, it will also automatically be removed/hidden from any Resources/Questionnaires within which it appeared.

How to disable a link or legislation
- Firstly, go to Admin Area (#1 in the screenshot below) then click on 'Links and Legislation' (#2 in the screenshot below).
2. Search for the link or legislation in the search bar (#3 in the screenshot above) and once you have located it, click on its title to open it (#4 in the screenshot above).
3. Now that you have opened the title, you will be taken to a page dedicated to that link or legislation. The grey button with a check mark (#4 in the screenshot above) shows that the link is active. Click on this button to disable the link or legislation (#4 in the screenshot above).
4. Select Yes to delete the link or legislation permanently (#5 in the screenshot above).
5. A confirmation banner will appear (#6 in the screenshot above), and the icon will change to show the link or legislation has been disabled (#7 in the screenshot above).
Please note the once the item has been disabled, you do not need to remove it within your Resources/Questionnaires since, it will automatically be hidden from any guides in which it appeared.
How to activate a disabled link
Activating a link will cause a previously disabled link to reappear in any guides/questionnaires within which it was previously shown.
- Click on the Admin Area in the header bar (#1 in the screenshot below) then click on 'Links' (#2 in the screenshot below). Select the 'Active' button (#3 in the screenshot below).
2. The list will be updated to show all the links which have been disabled (as indicated by #4 in the screenshot below). You will now be able to search the list of disabled links via the search bar (#5 in the screenshot below).
3. Once you have located the disabled link in the Links List, click on the title to open it (#6 in the screenshot above).
4. When you have opened the link you wish to re-activate, you will be shown more details about the link. As you can see this link has been disabled (#7 in the screenshot below). Click on this button to re-activate the link (#7 in the screenshot below).
5. Select Yes to activate the link (#8 in the screenshot below).
6. A confirmation banner will appear (#9 in the screenshot below), and the icon will change to show the link has been activated (#10 in the screenshot below).
7. Please note the once the link has been activated, it will automatically be shown in any guides in which it previously appeared. You can see a list of any resources and questionnaires in which the link appears (#11 in the screenshot above.)
