Once you log on to SafetyToolbox, you will see your Dashboard. This gives you at a glance information about the status of health and safety and maintenance work you need to do and will look like the screenshot below:
Along the top of your screen is the Dashboard bar. This bar will appear on your screen at all times while working within SafetyToolbox.
- Dashboard - by clicking on Dashboard, you will be taken to your main dashboard screen from wherever you are within SafetyToolbox.
- Profiles - A dropdown menu will appear when you click on 'Profiles' allowing you fast access to, for example, accidents/incidents. Simply click on the option you wish to view.
- Tasks - By clicking on the Tasks button, a list of all tasks for the profiles you have access to will appear. For guidance on Tasks please see our guide 'The Main Tasks Screen'.
- Resources - Clicking on this button will take you to our Resource Library which contains guides, templates and other useful information to help you with a variety of issues from accident reporting to youth activities. For further information on the Resource Library, please see our guide 'Introduction to the Resource Library'.
- Admin Area - This button will only appear if you are a System Administrator.

Help - There are two ways of obtaining help by using this button:
- Help Centre - This option will take you to our Help Centre where you will find guides on using the features available within SafetyToolbox.
- Contact - complete the form if you wish to contact SafetyToolbox for help.
- Your name button - By clicking on your name you can choose 'settings' to edit your personal details and password, and 'logout' of SafetyToolbox.
Task Status
Task Status shows the status of your profile at a glance with how many tasks are complete, due and outstanding. NOTE: If you have access to more than one profile, this will show the status of all your profiles together. Clicking on any segment of your pie chart will take you to the task list for that segment, for example, due tasks. For further guidance on Tasks, please see our guide 'Understanding the Task Page'. If you wish to include a copy of the pie chart in a progress report, click on the 'download' button in the top right corner of the Task Status box.
9. Resources
This box shows, at a glance, your list of 'favourite' resources. To keep up to date with updated resources, click on the 'Updated Resources' tab.
10. Recent Users
This box shows recent activity by users on SafetyToolbox.
