Tasks can either be manually archived by an administrator (e.g. the person in your organisation who manages your SafetyToolbox Online Account), or automatically based on responses to a checklist.
This guide contains:
Locating an archived task
To locate archived tasks from within your task list by opening the Task List for your profile:
- Click the 'Progress' tab in the Filter Bar (#1 in the screenshot below)
- Untick all the options except for 'Archived' (#2 in the screenshot below)
- Click Apply (#3 in the screenshot below).
- Click on the title of the archived task you wish to open (#4 in the screenshot below).
Why a task has been archived
If the task was archived automatically due to a checklist, you will see a comment similar to the following shown (#4 of the screenshot below). This comment will specify exactly which checklist has triggered the archive.
To restore the archived task, you will need to review your responses to that checklist. You can access the checklist by clicking on the link in the 'Why is this in my list?' section (#5 in the screenshot above). For step-by-step instructions on reviewing a checklist, please see our guide here.
If such a comment isn't present, then it will have been manually archived, and a comment may have been left to indicate why. To restore a manually archived task, see our guide covering restoring an Archived/Closed Task
Note: you may need to contact your SafetyToolbox Administrator to help with restoring a manually archived task if you do not have sufficient permissions to do this yourself.
