Where a profile has multiple tasks for the same item, you can combine into a single entry in the task list (we call this a task thread). Once complete, the older task will be accessible via the View Submissions button from the newer task which will be retained in the main task list.
*Note: In order to use this action, you must have administrative permissions for the profile. If you do not have the necessary permissions, the buttons described below will not be visible to you.
1) Open one of the tasks you wish to combine from within your task list (#2 in screenshot below).
3) Underneath the Task title, select the three dots within the grey box, (#3 in screenshot below) and click the Combine Submission Thread button (#4 in the screenshot below).
5) A window will then pop up in the centre of the screen. Using the drop-down menu, select the task you wish to merge the task with, (#5 in the screenshot below).
6) Then click the blue 'Combine Task Threads' button, (#6 in the screenshot below). This will merge the two tasks into a single task thread.
Once completed, a green banner will appear at the top of your screen to confirm the action has been successful.
