SafetyToolbox online software helps you manage health and safety tasks efficiently by colour-coding tasks based on their due dates: overdue (red); due (orange); not due (green).
In addition to these statuses based on their due date, your organisation can enable an optional fourth colour: black (#1 in the screenshot below) to make it easier to identify tasks with high or very high priority sub-tasks.
To remove the Black/ Unsatisfactory badge you will need to address the underlying high or very high priority subtasks associated with this task. Open the task by clicking on its title (#2 in screenshot above) and navigate to its subtasks by clicking the subtask button in the action bar (#3 in screenshot below).
High and Very high priority sub-tasks will be at the top of the list of sub-tasks and are clearly indicated by the red arrow badges (see #4 in screenshot above).
Once you have completed the necessary actions identified for a sub-task, simply record the steps you have taken and update its status to complete by following the steps in our guide on Marking a Sub-Task as Complete.
Once all High and Very High priority sub-tasks have been completed, the black / unsatisfactory status will automatically be cleared from your task list and the task will revert to it's due date status (Due - orange, Not Due - green, Overdue - red).
